Dr Boopalan Ramasamy
Dr Boopalan is a Professor/Adjunct scientist from the Christian Medical College (CMC), Vellore, India. CMC Vellore is one of the top two premier medical institutions in the country ( https://www.cmch-vellore.edu ).
He is currently working as an Area of Need, Staff Specialist in Orthopaedics at The Royal Darwin Hospital, Northern territory. His Research interests include the development of medical technology for the treatment of bone defects due to trauma and infection, use of Stem cells for cartilage regeneration, using Pulsed Electromagnetic Field Therapy for bone and cartilage healing.
His expertise is treatment of complex trauma and fractures, including pelvic fractures, infected nonunion and deformity corrections.
